Final Fantasy XIV Races

The Final Fantasy XIV Races include all well- known characters from FF XI. But in the new game their looks are changed and the race’s names and backgrounds are completely different. The reason for old characters to be used is because the creators wanted to give something familiar to the fans. In Final Fantasy XIV you have much more freedom in the character development. You can choose skin, hair, eye color, and even hair style. Here is some information about the Final Fantasy XIV Races.

Elezen are nomads who ones claimed to have authority over Eorzea. They come one again to gain back their sense of honor and pride, and believe that the gods are with them in their battle. Their looks and physical state are tightly connected with the various environments which the lands are possessing. There are two kinds of Elezens: Wildwood and Duskwight.

The Lalafell were initially a group of fanners who lived in the fertile islands of the South Seas. They found their road to Eorzea through trade routes. Though they aren’t completely adaptable to the land’s climate that doesn’t stop them from being one of the most populating and established races in Eorzea. The Lalafells’ legs seem like being very weak but that is just a deceitful look because actually their legs are capable of covering long routes on any king of terrain. These creators are also quite famous of having enviable intelligence and cunning minds. Again there are two kinds of Lalafells: Plainfolk and Dunesfolk.

The Hyur are the most common race in Eorzea. They come from. They are most famous with the sophisticated technology and progress which they contributed to the culture of Eorzea. Hyurs are extremely intelligent and stand firmly behind their believes in every individual’s right of freedom. There are Midland and Highland Hyurs.

Roegadyn are sea people who came to Eorzea from the Northern Seas. They posses immense, muscular body’s and value in first place the individual’s strength and courage. There are Sea Wolves and Hellsguard Roegadyns.

Because of the Age of endless Frost a new foreign fauna appeared on Eorzea’s shores. This change brought along tribes of hunters which are nowadays known as Miqo’te. Both kinds of Miqo’te (Seekers of the Sun and Keepers of the Moon) have a strong olfaction sense and powerful leg musculature. They are less in number compared to the other races.
